Assistive Technology for Employment – Aging in the Workplace

PDFs are sent to us sometimes not accessible and we do not have access to the original document. We will look at ways to make common issues in PDFs fixable. Being able solve these issues can be a difference between being able to upload a document and not. This training will provide a step-by-step introduction to accessibility for PDFs.

Disaster Preparedness and Assistive Technology

Disaster preparedness will inform about the importance of assistive technology when a disaster occurs. Learn what assistive technology first responders and shelters can utilize to help people with disabilities. Assistive technology can become lost or damaged during a disaster. Learn how to educate on what assistive technology should take when in a rush to evacuate an area. Identifying low tech options when electricity is out for extended periods. Find out about resources where individuals can obtain a short-term or long-term replacement for assistive technology?

AT for Computer Access

Gardening with Arthritis

Let's Talk: AT for Communication
